"What is my favourite Pokémon...?"
I sat down on my bed to think; it had been a rough few days helping my grandma moving in and I needed the time I had to rest. She was out of sorts because Grandpa, her husband, had just passed. I hadn't been close to him but I still missed him. My mother would be able to keep grandma calm - that I was sure of. Screaming echoed through the house.
"Fairy magic resides in this house! The same magic and horror that stole away my husband will be the end of us!"
Someone screamed at the top of their lungs and as I went down I saw my mother crying softly. My father restrained Grandma from flailing too much,
June 06 - happy birthday
Dear diary,
I had an amazing day! First of all, I received my first Pokémon, an Elekid, whose ancestors have been in my family for generations. The best part of today, though? That dreamboat exchange student Bryan asked me out today! It is turning out to be the best 15th birthday ever! I think Bryan has a Smoochum, so Kid, my Elekid, is going to be joining me. Here's hoping everything goes well.
Love,
Lily

He kissed me! And it looks like Kid got a little sugar as well. It was amazing, there were Volbeat and Illumise in the air and everything was perfect. I almost regret starting my field
Even as I write this, I realize my time is short
My name is Haraway. I am a scientist, or I was once upon a time.
For the longest time we have wondered, "What is a Pokémon?" in the same way that we have wondered, "What is man?" We began our research in a simple enough way, setting up programs to emulate basic Pokémon actions and reactions.
This was long before we were able to truly understand Pokémon, even before the first forms of the modern day Pokéball were developed. We knew that they were something to be feared and respected. Quite a few people had developed bonds with Pokémon but many of these were fleeting a
No one knew how it had started. Why it had started. Few even knew when it had started. Only one thing was for sure: it had become a sign of terror.
They seemed innocent enough. Like gentle balloons floating on the breeze, they all just appeared one Friday and soon became the Pokémon of choice for children. Many of them would stay with a child without any Pokéball, seeming to like just being around others. The adults largely disliked them having blank eyes that seemed to pull the mind in and constantly humming a tune to which the children sang along with.
A heavy fog began to roll gently into the valley; the town took no notice of

Eventually, he started talking again, but I guess seeing someone after three years can be a bit of a shock.
"Jake, hey! It has been way too long. How are you doing?"
His voice was deeper and he had a really animated way of talking that only made me want to smile more. We started talking about how much we missed each other and how much things have changed since we last saw each other.
"Hey Derek, I'm glad you were able to come." Sam came into the theatre with a few of our friends, no one I was particularly close to, though. "Oh and Jake, you made it as well! That's great!" She said, looking over at me.
"Well, when I heard that we were mee

I just ran away from the person I care most about in the world.
My name is Jake, and this is my story.
When I went up to Derek's moms the day before I left, they told me that he was in the tree house. I knew what that meant. I climbed up into the tree only to see Derek sitting alone in the center gently sobbing. I walked over and took him into my arms.
We sat there for a while, crying our goodbyes, just holding on to each other. He finally looked up at me and I stared straight into his eyes. When he moved in a little closer and pressed his lips against mine, warmth spread through my entire body, and I started to kiss back without thinking.

I soon started to hang with the group. Chris and I were really close, which meant that I ended up being close to Sadie, as it turns out they were fraternal twins. Even though they were close, they fought a lot, which meant I usually ended up being the mediator. Riley had just broken up with Sadie, so he was a bit more distant. Jake and I had reconnected strongly and spent tons of time together, even though this meant that he wasn't able to spend as much time with Karol. The biggest change, though, was from Ian, who became a lot more confident and split his time between Sadie and Riley. Alex and Sam had decided to take a big trip and disappear

I'm guessing that he felt that something was off because he started giving me an odd look.
"Jake, hey! It has been way too long. How are you doing?"
His smile lit up even more and we started talking, about old times and new. I'm sure we looked really weird, a couple of guys standing in the middle of a theatre having a full on conversation, but I didn't care.
"Hey Derek, I'm glad you were able to come." It was Sam, along with Alex and a few random faces I had seen around school "Oh and Jake, you made it as well! That's great!"
I looked over at Jake and his smile hadn't even faltered.

I'm currently kissing the last person in the world I would ever want to kiss, though I guess I should start from the beginning to explain what's happening
I grew up being told, "this is what a man is", and "this is what a man does", so is it any surprise that when I transferred into a new school I joined the football team and started hanging around someone super girly named Alex? Well no I guess not when I say it like that, but when you consider that I'm only the towel boy and this super girly friend of mine is male, it does throw a bit of a wrench in the works. Now don't get me wrong, Alex is great and super cool, but sometimes
